Description Under the supervision of the manager or Vice President of Patient & Clinical Services, serves as an active member of the Operating room team in providing quality surgical patient care. Assists in the maintenance of a safe and aseptic surgical environment. Observes and teaches other surgical team members proper surgical technique. • Coursework/Training Graduation from accredited surgical tech program. Or equivalent educ/experience.
• Experience as needed to fulfill job functions.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training Recent completion of CST training program. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • Current job as an OR Technician.
  • Coursework/Training Central Service training.
  • Upon hire: Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA).
