This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams. HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics located North, Valley, & Downtown Spokane. (including: Orthopedics, & Sport medicine). We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview. This position represents both full-time and part-time openings. You will have the ability to discuss during an interview. The job utilizes a combination of skills including:

• Clerical computer and phone skills
• Customer service/people skills
• Medical terminology
• Hands on clinical skills Typical job skills include:
  • Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure
  • Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient's medical records
  • Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing This is a combined posting for Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical Assistant.     • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
    • Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months) Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience. Medical Assistant Registered: Required Qualifications:
      • Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
      • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
      • 6 months of healthcare experience.
      • 6 months of Medical Assistant experience. Medical Assistant Registered, Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience. Medical Assistant Required qualifications:
        • Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
        • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
        • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
        • 6 months Healthcare experience
        • 6 months Medical Assistant experience Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $18.50, Max: $28.27 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $22.91/hr or higher depending on experience.
