• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: All ages. X-Ray: chest xray, extremities, abd, spine work. CT: routine CT scans and angiograms.
• Experience required: Must have ct and x-ray experience. Must be able to do IV starts.
• Prefer travelers to have c-arm experience in the OR.
• Average # of scans/studies per day: X-Ray: 10. CT: 6-8.
• EMR: Cerner Community Works. PACS: Philips Intellispace.
• Department Specific Equipment: X-Ray: both GE. CT: Canon.

  • BLS Certification Required
  • WA State License Required: ARRT in x-ray, preferred to have ARRT in CT
  • Ability to start IVs
  • Preferably with experience in c-arm operation in the OR
    • Schedule Information
    • Shifts: Days: 4-10 hour shifts (7a-5:30p, 8a-6:30p, 9a-7:30p); Nights: 4-10s (9p-7:30a) or 3-12s (7p-7:30a)
    • 3 techs are scheduled on day shift, 1 tech generally scheduled on nights
    • Weekend Requirements: All weekend shifts are 12 hours, from 7 to 7:30
    • Holiday Requirements: Work only if holiday falls on a scheduled day
    • Call or Standby requirement: If there is no night staff scheduled, day shift will be on call with a 20-minute response time; call needed normally not more than 1 day per week
      • Unit Specific Information
      • How many scanners/rooms: X-Ray: 1 room and 1 portable. CT: 1 CT scanner.
      • Will they have to float: Rare occasion have to run c-arm in surgery- preferred.
      • Will cover all inpatient, outpatient, and ER x-rays and CTs.
        • Additional Details
        • Local Candidates strongly preferred due to housing constraints
        • Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech available during select shifts
        • Radiologist not in-house, all scans/studies are sent out
        • Scrub Color: No specific requirement
        • Department specific orientation: 1 shift
